  1. 1If Jesus is so good, is He disappointed in you or does He delight in you? How do you know?
  2. 2What happens to your joy when you abide in Jesus? What happens when you don't?
  3. 3Are you able to look Jesus in the eye knowing He delights in you? Do you flinch or look with fear because you are trying to earn His delight?
  4. 4Do you distance yourself from Jesus because you're disappointed in your life circumstances?

Kids, ask your parent: “What is something Jesus says about you that you find hard to believe?”

Pray together

Jesus, help us stop living from names You never gave us. Teach us to receive the identity and delight You give by grace.

Keep making room.

    Read slowly enough to hear, not only finish.

    Talk with Jesus honestly and leave room to listen.

  • Worship

    Turn your attention and affection toward Him.

  • Memorize + Meditate

    Carry His words with you.

    Create space by laying something down.

  • Sabbath

    Receive rest as a gift, not a reward.
